Evil Geniuses is elated to announce its newest partnership and collaboration with Games for Change (G4C), a 501(c)3 nonprofit that empowers gamers and content creators to drive social impact through community leadership, educational programs, festivals, and game development. With this partnership, both organizations look forward to working side-by side to create opportunities of development for the next generation of esports talent while bringing gaming to all through education programing and social awareness campaigns.

To kick off the collaboration, Evil Geniuses will host a Diversity and Inclusion Workshop on July 7th at the 2021 Games for Change Festival Workshop Week, part of the 18th Annual G4C Festival. As part of the workshop, EG’s Chief Culture Officer, Jessica Hammond, will speak to Evil Geniuses’ Gaming for All Report and highlight how Games for Change’s mission for equity and social justice aligns with EG’s core value of offering everyone a seat at the table and consistent push to be a leader in ensuring the ecosystem is representative of all gamers.

Throughout the partnership, EG and Games for Change will work together to plan additional programs to give students and community members the opportunity to learn more about the esports industry and network with EG team members.

“We are proud to be a strong voice for inclusivity and partnered with Games for Change who share this same passion,” said Anthony Scala, EG’s Collegiate Lead, “The festival is the perfect starting point for what will be a long-lasting relationship between our organizations.”
